The Classic Rock Orchestra will be performing "The Quest" on the World Music Stage at the Green Fair in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, on Monday, June 3, 2002 at approximately 6pm.

"In taking the music out live we have found it impossible to justify the expense of real orchestral instruments, but every effort has been made to use the most realistic sounding samples available to achieve the same sounds that are on our CD."

The live band consists of the following personnel:

• Alan Hitt - Electric and acoustic guitar; pedal steel guitar; mandolin
• Colin O'Neill - Five- and six-string basses
• Simon Taylor - Soprano, tenor, and alto saxophones; tin whistle
• Phildas Bhakta - Drums and percussion
• Richard Mills - Keyboards
• Keith Buckman - Acoustic guitar
• Peter Hurst - Lead vocals; acoustic guitar

Situated on the Old Bowls Green In Kingston-upon-Thames is an amazing open-air World Music Stage. Throughout the day there will be sunshine performances from around the World. Until, that is, the Balrog rises up in plumes of sulphurous smoke from the delths of Moria, and in a deep mournful gesture, he points his axe unto the crowd and screams

• 12noon: Earthbeat Kids
• 1-1.45pm: Jambience (Aussie Style Fast and Furious Didge Band)
• 2.15-3pm: Seize the Day (English, top class protest music)
• 3.30-4.15pm: Chimianimani (High calibre Zimbabwean dance music)
• 4.45-5.30pm: Headmix (The finest in live festival music)
• 6.15-7pm: The Classic Rock Orchestra (performing music inspired by "The Lord of the Rings" with guest artists)
